Hi folks!
You are reading the first monthly roundup! I will use these to recap whatever it is I worked on over the last month so let’s jump into what happened in April!
The Electrum Archive #01 Draft
Halfway through this month, I finished writing the full draft of The Electrum Archive issue 1! The document now contains everything I want to include in the first issue and is currently being edited by the wonderful Ava Islam, who also edited DURF and the Lair of the Gobbler adventure.
If you want more updates about the development of TEA, check out the last few blog posts that I wrote about it this month:
There are also some exclusive previews available on my Patreon. Talking about my Patreon…
I made a Patreon this month!
I set up a Patreon for those who would like to help me dedicate more time to the projects I’m passionate about, making RPG zines and illustrations!
Right now, there are already some exclusive previews on there that show some of the art I’ve commissioned for The Electrum Archive and preview pages of the Mirall Delta region!
Illustration work for GLIDE
Even though most of my time this month was spent getting the draft of TEA finished, I still had time to work on commissions. I already did some work for Cody Barr’s GLIDE when it was live on Kickstarter, but since the project was a success I’ve been asked to draw more illustrations for this Dune-inspired solo RPG. Here are some of the new character illustrations that I finished.
SKYREALMS
Iko and Evlyn Moreau have been working on an awesome little coloring book RPG zine containing some lovely art by Evlyn. Iko has asked me to write an adventure for this and I couldn't be more excited to work with him again. So go check out the project on Kickstarter!
Other things that happened:
Blunders & Treasure, the DURF micro-supplement, now has an Italian translation thanks to the work of Francesco Catenacci.
I played You Died, a Caltrop Core souls-like solo RPG, and even though I haven’t finished my run yet, I love it so far, so go check it out! It was created by Giles Penfold and Edward Yorke.
The exploration of the eldership “the Chrome Leviathan” continued in the open table game of TEA that I run on the CULT OF THE LIZARD KING Discord! Running this game for a rotating group of mostly strangers has been a lot of fun :D
That’s it, I think! If I missed something major I’ll let you all know next month!
Thank you for reading and have a nice day :)
