Hey folks :)
May was a good month. I did work I’m really proud of and had my first holiday trip in ages!
GLIDE artwork
At the start of this month, I was busy finishing the commission for Cody Barr’s GLIDE, a solo RPG inspired by Dune.
If you want to see the sketches I made for these you can find them on my Patreon :)
Death in the Saddle
During the same time, I was asked to create two character illustrations for Death in the Saddle, a Death in Space hack by Sailing Fox Press. I had a lot of fun trying out a different style for these!
DURF: Wizardry!
I also tinkered with a small supplement for DURF, called Wizardry!. It introduces an altered spellcasting system, two reworked character archetypes, 40+ spells and a spellbook generator. The full text is available on my Patreon, while I finish the lay out for proper release.
DURF Restocked!
Speaking of DURF, I went on a week-long holiday trip to Berlin this month and had the pleasure of visiting ALL THE PROBLEMS IN THIS WORLD. I personally delivered new copies of DURF, since the previous set had sold out way quicker than expected. There are still a few copies available which you can find here :)
SKYREALMS is now live!
SKYREALMS, the Kickstarter by Iko and Evlyn Moreau that I mentioned last month, has just launched. It’s a TTRPG setting and coloring book, and I will be writing a short adventure for it!
The zine looks fantastic and one of the stretch goals includes full stats for use with DURF! So go check it out!
Other cool things
I’m making a big illustrated map for the first issue of my upcoming game The Electrum Archive.
I wrote a post about the new “zones” rules in The Electrum Archive.
Greyson is having a reversed sale on their game D6 ARKFORT to pay for some new tires. They’re good people, so go buy it :)
I’m reading Gardens of the Moon by Steven Erikson and I’m enjoying it very much so far.
I played a game of Errant in the Dolmenwood setting as a woodgrue named Ralphy.
I watched Everything Everywhere All At Once, which fucking slapped.
I went from ~1900 followers to 3000+ in 24 hours because a lot of folks enjoyed this drawing of a knight with a moon for a head.
Thank you for reading, have a nice day and I’ll speak with y’all soon :)
Emiel
